Ecotourism Innovation & Excellence

The Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference is Ecotourism Australia's annual premier conference. Global Eco brings together leading players from across the globe to examine best practice across sustainability, ecotourism, cultural and heritage tourism, tourism in protected areas and climate change response.

In 2016, Ecotourism Australia is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and will be celebrating a renewed focus on innovation and excellence at the Global Eco Asia-Pacific Conference. The conference theme for this important anniversary year is "Ecotourism: Fostering Innovation - Sustaining Excellence". The conference will reflect on Ecotourism Australia's 25 years of history (as the first National Ecotourism body in the world), the past growth of ecotourism around the world, and how the industry may continue to pioneer and strive for excellence in the future.

Call for Papers: Apply by May 30th

The Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference is seeking papers for its workshops and masterclasses on Wednesday 23 November 2016. Ecotourism Australia will be looking for papers across a range of topics to include in its workshop and masterclass program, including:
