The session featured a presentation by Peter Richards, a responsible tourism leader with a wide range of hands-on experience in public, private and civil society sectors, focusing on responsible tourism and community development. Peter holds an MSc in Responsible Tourism Management from Leeds Beckett University, and has conducted graduate research on how UK tour operators and their ground agents can source and sell more sustainable tourism products.

The results of his research has been summarized in the free guide, "Make It Count: A guide for outbound tour operators and their ground agents on how to scale up the sales of sustainable tourism products". This guide has been published by The Travel Foundation, in partnership with Leeds Beckett University.

We also hear from Christine Jacquemin, Director of EXO Foundation and Sustainability Coordinator for EXO Travel, about key lessons on sourcing and selling more sustainable tourism products, from the ground agents' perspective.

This Live Session was co-hosted by Wild Asia as part of the Wild Asia Responsible Tourism Leaders series, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Wild Asia Responsible Tourism Awards.
