Head of Impact at Ecologi

Sam is Head of Impact at Ecologi, the leading platform for climate action. He leads the team responsible for maximising environmental and social impact across all of Ecologi's work - including sourcing and supporting impactful climate projects, and grounding Ecologi's tech products in the latest climate and environmental science. Sam's particular areas of interest and expertise include nature conservation and restoration, environmental governance, and voluntary carbon markets. Currently, Sam's team is working on Ecologi Zero, a carbon footprinting platform helping to support small businesses to take meaningful steps towards decarbonisation. Prior to Ecologi, Sam worked for several years in sustainable tourism operations, including supporting the early development of Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency, and he has also worked with a number of humanitarian charities around the world.
