Olivia is Vice President, Sustainability for BCD, a leading travel management company (TMC).
Olivia has more than 20 years of experience in international travel, tourism, hospitality and events in a variety of strategic sustainability, communications, policy and research roles. She previously was director for Greenview, a consulting and research firm that supports hospitality organizations in designing environmental, social and governance sustainability strategies. Prior to that she spent a decade at the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) where she oversaw the organization’s policy, strategy and sustainability work.
She oversaw WTTC’s involvement in the development of the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative (HCMI) and led industry task forces on ESG reporting, climate action, illegal wildlife trade and human trafficking. Olivia was also responsible for the programme for WTTC’s annual Global Summit and regional events, the annual Tourism for Tomorrow awards programme, and setting the organisation’s strategy based on industry trends and insights.
