Marjan Nauwelaert has been working as the Sustainability Manager at Visit Flanders since 2022.
Marjan has coordinated the actions of Visit Flanders' sustainability plan, developing new strategies based on knowledge, best practices from and collaboration with many partners, and keeping sustainability top-of-mind across the organisation.
Previously she worked as a researcher (2019-2022). With a background in the economical, social and ecological impact of ocean- and river-cruise tourism in Flanders, she worked on the first report ever published on this topic in Flanders.
