Annika Sandström, regional tourism manager at Region Västerbotten Tourism since 2014. Annika has worked in the hospitality industry in Västerbotten since 2001 and was among the first to initiate sustainable tourism in Västerbotten. Annika studied service management at Dalarna University and has an MSc in sustainable tourism development from Edinburgh, Scotland.
For the past 30 years, Annika has worked in various roles in the hospitality industry, everything from hotel cleaning and reception work to restaurants and project management. In her current role at Region Västerbotten Tourism, focus is on developing sustainable tourism together with destination organisations, municipalities and tourism companies.
