In this session, Dr. Kim Langmaid shares her insights based on sustainability practices at Vail, Colorado, USA. Kim represents the Walking Mountains Science Center (WMSC) and has been actively engaged in implementing various sustainability actions in Vail, including the Mountain IDEAL destination standard, Actively Green certification and training program for businesses, Vail's engagement with the Green Destinations certifciation, and various conservation and sustainable management practices helping keep the destination green, healthy and attractive.
