TrainingAid has partnered with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) to support its work in promoting sustainability practices around the world, by developing and managing the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program (STTP).
We're thrilled to be part of the GSTC's important work in strengthening sustainability policy and practice, and invite all our readers and followers to get to know and be part of the STTP.
Sustainable Tourism Training: Opportunity for Destinations & Businesses
The GSTC STTP offers practical insights and effective steps to help travel and tourism industry professionals implement sustainability practices.
With the aim of strengthening awareness of sustainable tourism in destinations around the world, the training program covers global trends in sustainable tourism, sustainability best practices and case studies, and the GSTC Criteria, the global baseline standards for sustainability in travel and tourism.
By participating in the GTSC Sustainable Tourism Training, you will gain relevant knowledge and skills to make informed decisions on how to implement sustainability practices for your company or destination, and to build and establish viable and actionable sustainable tourism policies and practices for your organization.
Certificate in Sustainable Tourism: Demonstrate Your Knowledge
One of the key benefits of participating in a GSTC STTP training class is the opportunity to take the official STTP Exam, and upon successful completion, receive a Certificate in Sustainable Tourism by the GSTC to demonstrate your knowledge of sustainable tourism standards and practices.
The STTP offers two options for you to complete the training requirement towards earning the Certificate: onsite 3-day training classes and online 4-week training classes. All training participants who complete a 3-day onsite STTP training class or a 4-week online STTP training class will have the opportunity to take the official STTP Exam.
Upon successful completion, you are awarded with the Certificate in Sustainable Tourism by the GSTC to demonstrate your knowledge of sustainable tourism standards and practices.
