About the Conference
The 2016 Global Sustainable Tourism Conference by the GSTC will be held in Suwon City, South Korea, 5-8 October, 2016. An inclusive conference featuring prominent speakers, updates on GSTC's activities, themed sessions and panels, the Global Sustainable Tourism Conference focuses on the themes: marketing sustainable tourism, urban tourism, cultural heritage destinations, and sustainable MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industry.
Simultaneous translation to Korean and Chinese will be available. The global conference has been planned to coincide with the Suwon City Cultural Festival. Post-conference field trips are offered free of charge for conference attendees to the demilitarized zone (DMZ) or to Everland Theme Park and the Samsung Innovation Museum.
