A strong advocate for sustainable development, and the need for urgent and concerted action in transitioning to a green economy, Sashika currently functions as Assistant Manager – Sustainability at Jetwing Hotels; overlooking the many environment sustainability initiatives of the brand, including the coordination of hotel level project implementation and performance analysis of sustainability practices, amongst others.
A First-Class graduate from the University of Kelaniya with a B.Sc. in Environment Conservation and Management, she has read for her Masters in Environment Management from the University of Colombo, and also holds a Diploma in International Relations conducted by the Bandaranaike Center of International Studies, Sri Lanka.
