Helga is passionate about lifelong learning, and has a wealth of international experience having lived in five countries on three continents; she is a pragmatic and resilient educator and entrepreneur with a strong service mindset. Helga has more than two decades of professional experience in senior management roles, ranging from academia, hospitality, manufacturing and operations management. She specializes in the conceptualization and evaluation of educational projects; project planning and rollout; and human capital development.
Most recently in Cambodia, she led a renowned vocational hospitality & tourism institute. Prior to that, in Vietnam, she conceptualized experiential learning programs for business undergraduates at a private foreign university; set up a foreign-owned handicraft production plant with global exports and launched a boutique hotel. 

Helga holds an executive MBA in International Business from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Diplomas in Translation Studies and Export Management from the University of Innsbruck and certifications as coach and trainer. She publishes and presents in the area of ‘experiential learning’, including ‘Virtual Internships and Work-Integrated Learning in Hospitality and Tourism in a post-Covid 19 World’ (2020); ‘Gender Equality in Performance Assessment to Nurture the ASEAN Entrepreneurial Spirit’ (2017); and ‘The Era of the Global Intern? Business Undergraduates’ Perceptions of International Internships at a Foreign University in Vietnam’ (2016).
Helga supports the Vincent Foundation, Cambodia with community development initiatives; and is honorary member of the Central & Eastern European Chamber of Commerce, Vietnam that she co-founded in 2015.
