Edith Alusa-Bosire is currently the CEO of Ecotourism Kenya which promotes sustainable tourism practices in Kenya connecting communities, conservation and tourism. She is a co-founder and Advisory Board Member at EED Advisory Ltd, a Pan African consultancy actively involved in providing African solutions to African challenges within the climate change, renewable energy and water management space.

For over 23 years, Edith has championed sustainable environmental management in the engineering, tourism, horticultural, climate change and energy spaces. She has held several board positions in both private and public sector organizations and has served as a technical advisor and consultant with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the World Bank and the government of the Netherlands among others.

Edith is a member of the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (IUCN CEC) a Certified Professional Mediator and treehugger.
