Ben Lynam has spent the last 20 years in government and the third sector, communicating the need for change around complex social and environmental issues. His first role in the UK’s civil service was at the Department for Environment, then the Home Office, where he was an instrumental in delivering the “Talk to FRANK” youth campaign. This led him to his first NGO and advocacy role at the UK Drug Policy Commission.

He then returned to his interest in sustainability, working for the UK’s Environment Agency, before joining the Travel Foundation – a global charity/NGO that works with tourism businesses and destination authorities to maximise the benefits of tourism – in 2012 as Head of Communications.
