The EXO Foundation Sustainability Awards program honored organizations and projects advancing sustainability in Asia. The 2023 awardees were announced on September 28th during a virtual award ceremony, followed by a panel discussion on sustainability in Asia by Nia Klatte (moderator), Ayako Ezaki (TrainingAid), Bijan Khazai (Hotel Resilient), and Benjamin Lephilibert (LightBlue Environmental Consulting).

Throughout the last few months, we’ve had the pleasure of working with visitBerlin’s Sustainable Meeting Berlin (SMB) program to offer training for MICE businesses in Berlin. Focused on the four pillars of the SMB criteria, our course groups discussed practical solutions to key sustainability challenges facing businesses in the MICE sector, as well as learning from those from within their own network that have achieved certification.
